A tea stall is a place where tea is served. Tea is also served in the restaurant but a tea stall is that kind of shop where tea gets the most priority. We see tea stalls everywhere whether in cities or villages. In cities, we have tea stalls beside the markets, offices, schools, and colleges. People come here to drink tea and often they have some snacks with tea. Different snacks are sold depending on the shop. It is generally run by one person who prepares and serves tea, receives money, and manage everything at a time. But sometimes we see an extra person or a little boy to help the shop owner. A tea stall is a common scene on the roadsides and they are always jampacked with people. As tea is the most favorite drink in our country, people often go to a tea stall to content their thirst. A tea stall is not only a place for drinking tea or eating snacks. This is also a social gathering place for the community, especially in villages. Cakes, biscuits, cigarettes, betel leaves are also available in a tea stall. Rural people usually get present at tea stalls after their works are done. They then discuss on different national and international affairs while having a cup of tea. It removes their tiredness and becomes a way of relaxation. People in cities also gather in tea stalls to have some chit chats and a cup of hot tea adds some extra flavor to their discussion. A tea stall is generally a small shop and often is the only source of income of the shop owner. Though a tea stall doesn’t always look great, it serves people greatly. Often people come here in their office breaks, school or college breaks and discuss random things. It also enhances their bond and helps them to get familiar with the community. A tea stall generally opens early in the morning and runs till late at night. Some tea stalls remain open the whole night and it gets very useful for the people who are working at night as a cup of hot tea can get a sleepy man back into his work. Though a tea stall isn’t the thing we talk about every day, it is making our lives easier by giving us some extra energy in our daily life.

In towns tea stalls are innumerable. Tea has now become a popular drink. So, A tea stall is usually crowded. In a tea stall, there are few chairs, tables or benches. Prepared tea is sold here. Biscuits, cakes, loaf, bananas, cigarettes and betel leaf are sold here. There is often a boy or two to serve tea to the customer.
The manager sits behind the cash box and collects money from the customer. An ordinary tea stall is dirty. A kettle is always kept hot on the stove. A tea stall opens in the morning and closes the late night. A tea stall is a popular place. People of different ages and classes come here. They take tea and talk with one other. They discuss various subjects. They also talk on village politics, national and international politics and current affairs. Sometimes customers raise a storm over a cup of tea. A tea stall is an important place of social gathering indeed.
